Vibe Opens Connected TV Campaign Management to Claude, ChatGPT, and Terminal

The Development

Vibe has expanded its connected TV ad platform with four new access points: a public API (Vibe Developer Platform), a Model Context Protocol connection (Vibe MCP) compatible with Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini Enterprise, a command-line interface (Vibe CLI) for terminal and coding-agent workflows, and an in-platform reporting agent (Vibe Agent). All access points read and write against the same account, meaning campaigns built via API are identical in the system to those built through the UI. Vibe validated the approach internally: VP of Growth and Marketing Romain Marsal used the API to build 250 account-based CTV campaigns — each with a matched audience and creative — in under 15 minutes of hands-on work, against an estimated 40 to 125 hours of manual setup. Creative matched correctly on 98% of campaigns on the first pass. Six new integration partners covering causal measurement, audience enrichment, compliance, and creative production were also added.

Our Take

The 250-campaign ABM test is the number that matters here. CTV has always been structurally undersized in performance marketers' mix — not because the inventory was wrong, but because the build cost made granular account-level targeting uneconomical. That constraint just evaporated. When a VP of Growth can produce 250 individually tailored CTV campaigns in 15 minutes through an API, the channel's TAM for performance use cases expands dramatically. The MCP integration is the more durable structural move: it positions Vibe inside the AI assistant workflows that performance teams are already building, making CTV a native output of agentic campaign orchestration rather than a separate channel requiring separate access.

What Changed

Performance marketers can now instruct a CTV ad platform in plain English via an AI assistant, or script campaign operations programmatically, without touching a dashboard. The channel that historically required specialist UI knowledge and manual assembly now accepts agentic inputs at the same fidelity as human-built campaigns.

4

Marketing Impact

Demand generation and ABM teams gain the ability to run account-level CTV at a scale previously reserved for paid social. Media operations teams can embed CTV campaign management into existing scripted workflows, eliminating the dedicated UI time that made granular CTV targeting impractical at volume.

5

Competitive Implication

CTV platforms that still require human UI interaction for campaign setup face a positioning problem as agentic workflows become the operational norm for performance teams. Vibe's MCP integration creates distribution inside AI assistants that competitors without MCP connections cannot replicate through interface improvements alone.

6

Strategic Outlook

Expect other self-serve CTV platforms to ship MCP connections within two quarters as the pattern becomes visible. The more consequential race is over which platforms get embedded in the agentic orchestration layers — internal tools, AI assistants, coding agents — that performance teams are now standardising on. Early MCP presence compounds; late entrants face cold-start friction even with equivalent features.

7

The Exploit

Action Item

ABM-focused demand generation teams running account-based paid social at scale should pilot Vibe's API this quarter to replicate their account segmentation logic in CTV before competitors discover the same cost-per-campaign economics and bid up the inventory.
