Nvidia Agent Toolkit Lands Adobe, Salesforce, SAP as Enterprise AI Foundation

The Development

At GTC 2026 on March 16, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang unveiled the Agent Toolkit, an open-source platform for building autonomous enterprise AI agents, and announced 17 major software partners committed to building on it. Adobe, Salesforce, and SAP are the most consequential for marketers. Adobe's partnership integrates Firefly models, CUDA libraries, and Nemotron into its creative and marketing agent workflows, with Adobe Experience Platform explicitly in scope. Salesforce is deploying Nemotron-powered Agentforce agents accessible through Slack, spanning service, sales, and marketing use cases. SAP is using the toolkit via its Joule Studio on Business Technology Platform. The toolkit includes Nemotron open models, the AI-Q hybrid orchestration blueprint—which Nvidia claims cuts query costs by more than 50 percent—and OpenShell, a sandboxed security runtime co-developed with Cisco and CrowdStrike. All components are open source and optimized for Nvidia's CUDA-dependent hardware.

Our Take

The marketing technology implications here are underreported. When Adobe says it will run 'long-running creativity, productivity and marketing agents' on Nvidia's stack, and Salesforce routes Agentforce through Nemotron for marketing use cases, the underlying inference infrastructure for campaign orchestration, content generation, and customer engagement is quietly standardizing on a single vendor's architecture. That's not a feature announcement—it's a platform lock-in event disguised as an open-source release. The CUDA dependency is the tell: open models that perform best exclusively on Nvidia GPUs replicate exactly the developer lock-in that made Nvidia's data center business unassailable. Marketing technology leaders evaluating agentic workflows in 2026 are not just choosing a software vendor—they are implicitly choosing a hardware dependency that will govern costs, performance, and vendor leverage for years.

The Exploit

Action Item

If your marketing org is evaluating agentic AI vendors in Q2 2026, audit every shortlisted platform for Nvidia Agent Toolkit integration now—vendors already inside this architecture will ship faster and at lower inference cost than those building outside it.
