The Development

Nvidia released Nemotron 3 Super on March 11, a 120-billion-parameter hybrid model built for agentic workflows and available on Hugging Face under the Nvidia Open Model License Agreement. The model combines three architectures—a Hybrid Mamba-Transformer backbone, a novel Latent Mixture-of-Experts design, and Multi-Token Prediction—to achieve up to 2.2x higher throughput than GPT-OSS-120B and 7.5x higher than Qwen3.5-122B in high-volume settings. Optimized natively for Nvidia's Blackwell GPU platform in NVFP4 precision, it delivers 4x faster inference than 8-bit models on the previous Hopper architecture. The model supports a 1-million-token context window and holds the top position on the DeepResearch Bench. It is deployable as an Nvidia NIM microservice on Google Cloud, Oracle, Dell AI Factory, HPE, and shortly AWS and Azure. Siemens, Palantir, CodeRabbit, and Greptile are among early enterprise adopters.

Our Take

Marketing teams building multi-agent systems—automated campaign analysis, competitive research loops, content pipelines—have been quietly absorbing brutal inference costs. Nvidia's own data shows multi-agent tasks generate up to 15x the token volume of standard chat, which turns promising automation into a budget problem fast. Nemotron 3 Super directly targets that cost ceiling. The throughput advantage over Qwen and GPT-OSS isn't marginal—it's the difference between a proof-of-concept and a production deployment at scale. The open-weights structure with commercial usability also matters: marketing teams can fine-tune on proprietary brand data without licensing exposure, provided they preserve safety guardrails. The license's litigation trigger clause is the one provision legal teams need to review before enterprise deployment.

Action Item

If your team has a multi-agent AI use case stalled over inference cost justification, pull Nemotron 3 Super's NIM microservice benchmarks and run a direct cost-per-task comparison against your current model before Q2 budget reviews close.
